This poster was made in Procreate and Photoshop. For this poster, I did hand lettering so I could push myself and develop the psychedelic lettering style, and to pay homage to the originals rather than using a preexisting typeface. This poster was the history of the movement. It’s made to look as if it’s promoting a band, but having the basic key information. Since the promoter Bill Graham started the movement for his venue Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, I put the on there, and I put the dates of the first Fillmore poster that promoted Jefferson Airplane’s performance.
