This is the half-page illustration I did for the article. This one was made in Adobe Fresco. I wanted to depict a kitchen scene because I like to draw interiors. I wanted to convey the exotic ingredients that were mentioned in the article, and also the feelings of not being inspired and overwhelmed. I wanted to have the character lying on the floor, just tired and defeated with the experience of cooking, and the fridge is just filled with random things to create some fun. The colors and textures are to emphasize the chaos.
